Australian Schools Individual Championships

Event Information

Location: Murraguldrie State Forest, 55kms south of Wagga Wagga
Map: Burngoogee (revised 2009); 1:10,000; contour interval 5m
Course Setter: Debbie Davey
Controller: Robert Spry
Organiser: John Oliver
Classes: Schools Senior Boys (aged 19 and under), School Senior Girls (age 19 and under); School Junior Boys (aged 15 and under); School Junior Girls (aged 15 and under)
Terrain: Undulating spur-gully open eucalypt forest with some steeper hillsides covered with considerable granite detail.

 

Burngoogee Bush Bash

A public event run concurrently with the Australian Schools Individual Championships, this event has the same details as above.

Classes: Hard Navigation H1- Schools Senior Boys, H2- Schools Senior Girls. Moderate Navigation M1- Schools Junior Boys. M2- Schools Junior Girls. Easy Navigation – M/W E (M & W combined).
Entry Fees: Senior $20, Junior $14.

Classes: For State teams: Hard navigation: M21E; W21E; M21AS; W21AS; M20E; W20E; M35A; W35A; M45A; W45A; M55A; W55A; M65A; W65A; M75A; W75A. Moderate navigation: M16A; W16A; MOpen B; WOpen B . Easy navigation: M/W12A
Entry Fees: Senior $24, Junior $16.
Other Info: For State-based teams of three people. Overseas entrants may nominate official teams if all members are from the same country. Teams to be finalised by 17:00 AEDT, Tuesday 4 October. There will be a mass starts of first leg runners at 12:30 AEDT, courses close 16:00 AEDT.
